Twin Sails Interactive has announced a new publishing partnership with Brazilian developer Orbit Studio. The deal will see Twin Sails publish Sky Dust, a cyberpunk action-adventure Metroidvania set in a dark future version of São Paulo. The game is set to release on PC via Steam.
Gameplay focuses on Metroidvania-style exploration, with interconnected districts opening up as new abilities are unlocked. Players move through neon streets, crowded markets, forgotten underground zones, and strange digital layers of the Cyberverse. The game also features high-speed motorcycle sequences that add variety to traversal.
Despite its decay, the city is full of life. You will encounter street vendors, shops, arcades, and side quests offered by criminals, outcasts, and everyday people just trying to survive. These moments help ground the world and show the human cost of the city’s collapse.
Combat in Sky Dust is fast and demanding where you must dodge, parry, and chain attacks together while facing gangs with cyber upgrades, mutated cult members, hostile machines, and large boss enemies. Each enemy type requires different tactics, with unique attack patterns and effects to watch for.
A key part of survival is also the player’s augmented arm. It can be upgraded to support stealth attacks, control enemy fatigue, manage distance in combat, and deliver powerful finishers.
