Who says indie games can’t look premium? The Vision Forge team is preparing Pine Harbor, an upcoming FPS horror game with photorealistic graphics built on Unreal Engine 5.

The story in Pine Harbor takes place in a small, abandoned fishing town along the coast of the North Atlantic Ocean, surrounded by cliffs, dense pine forests, and foggy landscapes. Once a lively and bustling place, the town is now desolate due to a technological catastrophe, inhabited only by monsters and the rare survivors you will encounter as you progress through the game.

Your role in the game is to navigate through the fog-shrouded town of Pine Harbor and its surroundings. Throughout your journey, you’ll collect resources and equipment to improve your chances of survival during each night. By exploring the town and the dark forests that surround it, you’ll have the opportunity to aid survivors and uncover their secrets and stories.

What’s more, you can explore Pine Harbor yourself right now, as a demo version of the game is available on Steam. According to the team’s latest announcement, the game is scheduled to launch into Early Access on Steam in Spring 2024.
