After catching attention with Dice’n Goblins, developer Tsukumogami Software is back with another retro-inspired project, and this one looks surprisingly unique. Paradox Tower is an upcoming resource-management RPG where strategy matters far more than luck, throwing players into a mysterious labyrinth filled with demons, witches, and dangerous enemies that clearly show their strength before every fight.
Instead of relying on random numbers or hidden stats, Paradox Tower focuses entirely on planning and decision-making. Every battle is deterministic, meaning victories come down to tactics rather than lucky rolls. If you run into trouble, the game even lets you rewind time and retry without heavy punishment, encouraging experimentation instead of frustration.
You’ll follow Eternia, the young Witch of Time, alongside her demon cat companion Bubu as they climb through handcrafted labyrinth floors to rescue witches and demons trapped inside the tower. Along the way, you can collect upgrades, cast powerful spells, trade with demons, and unlock new abilities between runs inside the mysterious Space-Time Room.
Paradox Tower is currently targeting a Q4 2026 to Q1 2027 release window on PC via Steam.
