Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Artefacts Studio have confirmed the release date for their dark fantasy strategy RPG Disciples: Domination. The game will launch on February 12, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
Disciples: Domination takes players back to the world of Nevendaar, set 15 years after Queen Avyanna freed the realm from the rule of the gods. This time, the story begins with Avyanna sitting on the throne, trying to hold together a kingdom that is slowly falling apart. Troubled by dark dreams and crushed by the weight of her power, her rule starts to break as allies vanish and a mysterious force spreads fear and madness across the land.
Combat returns in a refined turn-based system built around tactical, grid-based battles. Fights move faster and feature new events that keep battles tense and unpredictable. New skills, faction traits, and unit combos add more depth, while a clear system of strengths and weaknesses rewards careful planning.
Outside of battle, players explore Nevendaar in real time. This allows them to discover new regions, meet key characters, and take on meaningful quests. Building a strong army is essential, and players can recruit and upgrade units from five different factions, mixing their abilities to form powerful teams.
One of the major story threads focuses on the return of the Mountain Clans. The dwarves have emerged once again, and players must decide whether to work with them or face a new war that could tear the realm apart.
