Publisher Three Friends and developer Jammerdal Games have revealed Decrepit, a first-person action game built around difficult Soulslike combat. The story follows a lone fighter trying to escape a ruined medieval castle, with the game planned for release on PC via Steam in 2026.

Every time the player dies, they lose all their gear and wake up again in the castle’s dungeons, always in a different cell. The only things that carry over are the your knowledge of the castle and whatever equipment you can take from the undead roaming its halls. Each attempt is about learning the layout, understanding enemy behavior, and slowly turning an impossible task into something that can be overcome.

Combat is played in first-person and focuses heavily on stamina, positioning, and timing. Every enemy attack must be read carefully, and each weapon has its own rhythm and pattern. Players can combine weapon attacks with spells that fit naturally into openings during a fight. Any mistake, whether running out of stamina or mistiming a block, can lead to a quick defeat.

Although every run starts in a random dungeon cell, the world stays changed after each attempt. Players can unlock elevators, open shortcuts, and discover hidden paths that make progress faster. At first, the castle feels endless, but as you learn more, the routes begin to shrink, allowing you to reach the boss that stopped you in your previous run.
