Brocap Studio will release its shepherd-dog adventure Hubert for PC through Steam on October 12th, 2026. A PlayStation 5 release is also planned, with its date expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Players experience the journey from the perspective of Hubert, an overconfident working dog who interprets his surroundings through movement, scent, instinct and curiosity. His abilities are used to track scents, explore the environment and protect both his flock and Lily, the only human who trusts him.
Lily has persuaded a short-tempered farmer to give the pair a job herding dozens of unpredictable sheep across the pastures. We previously covered another dog-led sheep-herding adventure, although Hubert approaches the idea as a single-player narrative.
The story gradually moves beyond ordinary farm work and into the northern wilderness, where the landscape becomes quieter and increasingly threatening. Something beyond the fence appears to be calling to Hubert, forcing him to confront the divide between the domestic world he protects and the wild.
A free demo is currently available on Steam.
