Project Pantheon Brings a Fusion of Action RPG and Extraction, and Will Be Completely Free-to-Play

Wolcen Studio has announced its upcoming free-to-play action RPG Project Pantheon for PC. Players will have the opportunity to participate in a closed Alpha test: from January 25th to 26th for European players and from February 1st to 2nd for North American players.

Project Pantheon invites you on an adventure in a post-apocalyptic dark fantasy universe filled with traditional stories and mythological narratives. You are tasked by Death itself to help restore order to a shattered reality. Your first step is to explore a fantastical reinterpretation of Norse mythology—The Realm of Fate.

The game combines the high-stakes intensity of “extraction” style gameplay with the depth and progression typical of hack-and-slash action RPGs. In the game, you will explore diverse maps, complete quests, fight tough enemies, and participate in dynamic PvPvE combat. If you survive the challenges and return to your sanctuary, you can secure your loot and then trade with other players. The stakes are high, as death means losing everything.

Although Project Pantheon has been in development for over a year and is currently in an early Alpha stage, Wolcen Studio has decided to conduct tests for European and North American players to allow them to contribute to the shaping of the game and future updates.
