Bossa Games, the developer and publisher known for creating innovative titles like I Am Bread, I Am Fish, and the Surgeon Simulator series, has released a series of new screenshots for the game Lost Skies. These new visuals provide the first glimpse into how players will traverse and explore the game’s extraordinary world of floating islands.

In Lost Skies, which is being published by Humble Games, players team up to explore a vast world made up of floating islands. The sky offers endless opportunities for building custom skyships, bravely facing storms, battling monsters, and solving the mysteries of ancient civilizations, forgotten technologies, and tells us stories of a broken world.

They also introduced a test version of the Island Creator tool, which allows players to build their own floating islands and share them with others. In the current pre-alpha playtest, they’ve added new islands to explore, including those created by the community, which already display the complexity and beauty of the islands, as well as the remnants of destroyed civilizations before the mysterious world-changing event. Lost Skies draws inspiration from the studio’s previous game, Worlds Adrift, and improves upon many popular mechanics.

Playtesters are drawn from the Lost Skies Discord, which you can join here: https://discord.com/invite/lostskies
