Step into the quiet, reflexive world of I Have No Change, a first-person narrative game that immerses players in the life of a night-shift kiosk vendor in Russia. In I Have No Change, you take on the role of Matvey, a 27-year-old working the night shift at a small kiosk. Through the kiosk window, you encounter a diverse range of customers—familiar faces, wandering strangers, and everything in between. Each customer brings their own story, from love and betrayal to the daily struggles of life. As Matvey, you will serve customers, manage the kiosk, and reflect on your own life.
The game combines a gritty, cinematic visual style with vibrant, fantastical sequences inspired by anime and cult games. These changes in style reflect Matvey’s imagination, creating a contrast between the harsh reality of the kiosk and the colorful worlds of his thoughts. The story is a philosophical drama that explores themes of stagnation, lost dreams, and the hope that never fades. Balancing humor and sadness, the game provides a deeply emotional experience.
