Rogueside has released the first demo for their narrative murder mystery game Best Served Cold. Set in the fictional town of Bukovie, the game immerses players in a world of intrigue, deception, and danger. The demo, now available on Steam, provides a glimpse into the atmospheric storytelling, investigation mechanics, and the unique drink-mixing gameplay that will define the full game for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.

In Best Served Cold, you take on the role of a bartender at The Nightcap, an illegal bar hidden beneath a luxurious bookstore. The town is gripped by fear as a series of unsolved murders shake the community. When the police hit a dead end in the investigation, a young ambitious detective seeks your help in solving the case. But there’s a catch—you’ll need to impress him to keep your illegal bar open.

Your role as a bartender isn’t just about mixing drinks; it’s the key to solving the mystery. You will serve cocktails to your guests to prompt them to talk, gathering clues and piecing together the truth. Every conversation, every drink, and every piece of evidence brings you one step closer to uncovering the killer. Each day, you will return to your apartment to connect the evidence on your investigation board, drawing new conclusions and unraveling the mysteries.
