Progress_Check, a new indie studio founded by siblings Daniel and Anita Sołtys, has announced their debut game Wandering Monolith: Rogue TD. This unique roguelike tower defense game with deckbuilding elements is getting its demo on Steam today.
Unlike classic tower defense games, where players defend an area from waves of enemies, in Wandering Monolith: Rogue TD you are the one attacking. You must strategically place towers on procedurally generated battlefields, create customized decks to enhance your strategy, and defeat the world’s defenders to spread your influence.
The game draws inspiration from modern indie hits such as Rogue Tower and Thronefall, while blending classic tower defense mechanics with roguelike and deckbuilding elements. This combination ensures that every playthrough is unique and offers endless replayability and new challenges. As you fight against waves of enemies, you will also unlock powerful upgrades and rewards.
