Development studio Messhof, known for the game Nidhogg, and publisher Annapurna Interactive announced during the Annapurna Interactive Showcase that their upcoming biking adventure Wheel World will be available this summer for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. For those who can’t wait to explore the game’s world, a demo version is now available during Steam Next Fest.

The demo lasts between 30 minutes and an hour, allowing players to experience the vibrant world and game mechanics. Along with the demo, the first song from the soundtrack, “Go” performed by Joon from the electronic music label Italians Do It Better, has been released. More songs will be released in the coming months to further build excitement ahead of the game’s summer launch.

Wheel World is a relaxing, open-world biking adventure where you play as Kat, a young cyclist on a mission to save the universe. The game is set in an impressive open world full of spectacular landscapes, hidden secrets, and exciting races. From rolling hills to bustling cities, the environments are diverse and visually captivating.

The game blends exploration, racing, and bike customization into a unique experience. You can upgrade your bikes with rare parts, turning them into fast racing machines or powerful off-road bikes, tailored to your own riding style. The races are intense and competitive, where you compete against peculiar rivals and elite cycling teams, and every second can be crucial.
