Developer Knitted Cats and publisher Polden Publishing have announced Night Shift Hospital, a cooperative job simulation game where up to four players take on the role of doctors trying to survive the busiest shift of their careers. The title is currently planned for PC via Steam, though a release date has yet to be announced.

In Night Shift Hospital, players must work together to manage an endless stream of patients arriving throughout the night. Each patient needs to be examined, correctly diagnosed and sent to the appropriate treatment area before receiving the right medical care. Quick decision-making and teamwork are essential as the hospital becomes increasingly overwhelmed.

The game raises the stakes by giving the entire team a shared limit of just 10 mistakes per shift. Incorrect diagnoses, failed procedures and poor decisions all count toward that total, bringing the staff closer to being fired. You will also need to avoid fatal errors, as keeping patients alive is just as important as treating them efficiently.

Adding to the challenge, every in-game night introduces a new twist that changes how the hospital operates. Unexpected disasters and evolving rules force you to adapt on the fly, ensuring that no two shifts play out the same way.
