A new indie platformer is aiming to blend lightning-fast movement with a cyberpunk rebellion. Freeline, developed by solo creator Piers, has been announced for PC via Steam, promising a momentum-driven experience where speed, creativity and precision are the keys to success.

Set inside a massive corporate-controlled megacity blanketed by surveillance cameras, the game follows Corrin, a young freerunner who joins an underground movement fighting back against “big tech.” Instead of confronting enemies head-on, you race across rooftops, weave through towering skyscrapers and exploit every shortcut they can find to avoid detection.

Its parkour system combines wall-running, flips, rail grinding, swinging, slides and high-speed jumps, encouraging you to master movement mechanics and discover increasingly efficient routes through each level. The game is clearly designed with speedrunners in mind, rewarding experimentation rather than forcing a single path to the finish.

Although a release date has yet to be announced, you can already wishlist the game on Steam.
