Solo developer Wyatt Warren has announced This Forsaken Climb, a climbing adventure that transforms the entire keyboard into part of the gameplay. This indie title is scheduled to launch on Steam later in 2026.

Rather than relying on traditional movement controls, you physically grip towering radio ladders by holding specific groups of keyboard keys that represent each hand. Climbing becomes a test of coordination and memory, as losing your grip can send you tumbling back down the structure.

The challenge extends beyond climbing itself. Throughout each ascent, you will repair electrical systems using keyboard-based puzzles that range from scrambled key layouts to luck-driven mini-games, creating a variety of interactions built entirely around the physical keyboard.

In addition to its main campaign, This Forsaken Climb will feature an endless climbing mode, cooperative multiplayer, competitive races to the summit and a tower editor that lets players create and share their own custom challenges.
