The AG French Direct, a showcase dedicated to games from French developers and publishers, traditionally takes place at the end of May. The seventh edition of this Direct will be broadcast on YouTube and Twitch starting at 6:00 PM (CET) and will feature 40 upcoming games for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The livestream will last 90 minutes and will reveal new announcements, gameplay trailers, world premieres, and release dates.
It has been confirmed that we will see titles from Hibernian Workshop, Focus Entertainment, NACON, Dear Villagers, Devolver Digital, Amplitude Studios, Nine Dots Studios, Ishtar Games, Playdigious Originals, The Game Bakers, Maximum Entertainment, and Sunnyside Games at the showcase.
The ambitious project Astral Ascent from Hibernian Workshop, which strongly resembles Final Fantasy XVI, will certainly attract attention. Also featured will be Amplitude Studio’s ENDLESS Legend 2 and the turn-based survival game Dead in Antares, as well as Lost in Prayer from Nine Dots Studio, along with new trailers for the games Hell is Us, MIO: Memories in Orbit, and Maseylia: Echoes of the Past.
After the showcase, numerous games will also be available on Steam as part of a special festival where we will be able to try out 20 demo versions and get a deeper insight through interviews and detailed previews.
