CloverPit, the hellish slot machine roguelike that has already sold over one million copies on Steam, delivered a major surprise announcement today during the Xbox Partner Showcase: the game is now available on Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, also launching day-one on Xbox Game Pass.

Developed by indie duo Panik Arcade, CloverPit has been described as the “demonic lovechild” of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette. The roguelite traps players in a claustrophobic, rusty cell where they must use a slot machine and an ATM to pay off escalating debts at the end of each round.

The core of CloverPit’s appeal lies in its addictive loop that encourages players to “break the game.” Success depends on manipulating the slot machine’s odds using various prizes and charms to trigger combos. Players must strategically plan ahead, allowing their luck to snowball into triumphant, debt-clearing runs.

Following its immense success on Steam in just 10 weeks, the Xbox launch trailer included an additional teaser for the game’s first upcoming DLC – “Unholy Fusion”. Details on the expansion are scarce, but its official announcement suggests new content is on the way soon.
