Bedtime Digital Games, an award-winning independent studio based in Denmark, recently announced that the combined sales of Figment and its sequel Figment 2: Creed Valley have reached one million copies specifically on the Nintendo Switch.

In their announcement post, Bedtime Digital Games shared their excitement about continuing to expand the Figment universe, teasing “big news” planned for later in 2026. The studio also responded positively to fan inquiries regarding potential upgrades or enhanced versions for the Nintendo Switch 2. They stated that they would love to develop optimized editions for the new hardware and are eager to make them available, though specific timing remains uncertain.

The Figment series is a pair of musical action-adventure puzzle games set inside the human mind. Players explore hand-painted surreal landscapes filled with colorful illustrations, humor, original songs, and thought-provoking narratives that touch on themes like fear, anxiety, creativity, and inner demons.

It is quite unusual for an indie game like Figment to see its strongest performance on the Nintendo Switch, especially given that the original launched on PC (Steam) back in 2017 and the sequel followed a similar multi-platform release strategy. Over time, the Switch versions appear to have driven the majority of the series’ success, benefiting particularly from portability, family-friendly appeal, frequent eShop promotions, and physical releases that resonated well with Nintendo fans.
