The Serbian game Code Alkonost: Awakening of Evil is finally ready to showcase its horrors this month when it becomes available for PC via Steam. It is a survival horror title inspired by Slavic mythology. Along with this announcement, we received a new trailer showing the game’s rich lore, combat mechanics, and the world we find ourselves in. Code Alkonost is expected to be available in late January.

In Code Alkonost, you enter a dark and mysterious world where ancient myths are brought back to life. In this game, you will uncover the secrets of an ancient evil while fighting terrifying monsters from Slavic tales. With unique gameplay and a deep story, the game tests your survival skills as you unravel numerous mysteries.

The two twin sisters, Vera and Milena, set out to leave gifts in front of the idol of the Slavic god Perun, believing that the gods would grant them health and peace in the world of Jaw (Jav). As Vera presents the food to the idol, Milena playfully hides from her, leading Vera to the entrance of the Forbidden, a place where bandits condemned to death were sent, and where demons were believed to roam.
