Solo developer Lucky Cat brings us the story-driven otome RPG The Silent Kingdom. Players take on the role of Princess Erinys, tasked with saving her kingdom from a sorrowful curse. As you traverse a world filled with challenges and hardships, you must decide whether to embrace love or hatred, betrayal or loyalty.
Princess Erinys is a defined character with her own personality, yet you have the freedom to shape her into the protagonist you want. Your choices affect her dialogue, thoughts, and emotions, allowing for a truly immersive role-playing experience. You will interact with various characters and make decisions that impact the story’s progression, as every interaction presents an opportunity to shape Erinys’s journey.
In the game, you will have the chance to explore romantic relationships with two companion characters. While romance is not required to complete the game, the bonds you form will significantly influence Erinys’s path. Dive into a dark and emotional narrative where moral ambiguity blurs the lines between right and wrong. As Erinys faces tragedies and corruption, she must grapple with her own morality and the sins of others. As the story unfolds, many scenes will feature CG events.
The Silent Kingdom was successfully funded on Kickstarter a few years ago and will be available for PC via Steam and itch.io.
