Publisher Wired Productions and Pollard Studio have announced that the psychological thriller KARMA: The Dark World will be released on March 27, 2025, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam). The game will be priced at €24.99, with a 10% launch discount on both PC and PlayStation, as well as an additional 15% discount on Steam for players who already own a previous Wired Productions title.
In the game, you take on the role of Daniel McGovern, an elite Roam Agent specializing in investigating the memories of suspects through the mind. What begins as a routine investigation quickly transforms into a dark conspiracy, forcing McGovern to confront unsettling truths and question his own reality. The story is filled with shocking twists and turns, and will keep you in constant suspense.
The game’s visuals represent one of its most prominent aspects; the surreal environments and exceptional attention to detail bring the story to life in an impressive way. The PlayStation 5 Pro version will include exclusive enhancements, such as full integration of PSSR technology for better image quality, clearer textures, reflections, and improved rendering of distant objects. Thanks to these upgrades, the game will deliver a stable 60 frames per second at 4K resolution, making the experience even more immersive.
The game’s narrative is inspired by the works of legendary creators like David Lynch (Twin Peaks), Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid, Death Stranding), and Christopher Nolan (Inception, Interstellar). This influence is clearly felt in the game’s abstract, surreal, and ominously beautiful design.
