Just yesterday it was announced that Log Away, a cozy builder from Croatian studio The-Mark Entertainment, has found a publisher in Wired Productions. It launched back in December 2025 on Steam and it offers a place to slow down, relax and build.
At its core, Log Away is a sandbox about building your own log cabin retreat. You’re given a small plot of land, a grid-based foundation, and the freedom to shape your space however you want. There are no timers breathing down your neck, no resource grind forcing you into routines, and no combat systems to master. You just build, decorate, and exist in this calm, natural world.
The environment itself does a lot of the heavy lifting. You’ve got shifting seasons, dynamic weather, day-night cycles, all those little details that make the world feel alive without overwhelming you. It’s the kind of game where something as simple as rain hitting the windows or a lamp glowing at dusk becomes part of the experience.
One feature that really stands out is how the game personalizes your experience. At the start, you choose up to three personal interests, and those choices shape the keepsakes you’ll find scattered around your retreat. These aren’t just collectibles, they come with soft, narrated backstories that add a layer of emotional warmth without ever turning the game into something task-driven.
Alongside the mentioned announcement, players are getting a big update, plus a 10% discount as part of the Steam Spring Sale. If you’ve been looking for something to unwind with, or just a space that feels a little more yours, this might be one to keep on your radar.
