Nintendo has officially confirmed a new Indie World Showcase airing on March 3, 2026, at 6:00 AM PT or 3 PM CET, promising roughly 15 minutes of announcements and updates focused entirely on indie games coming to both the Nintendo Switch and the newly released Nintendo Switch 2.
Indie World events have become a reliable platform for creative third-party studios to debut ports, announce release dates, and reveal entirely new projects tailored for Nintendo systems. Now, with the Nintendo Switch 2 officially available, this showcase could offer the first real glimpse at how indie developers are leveraging the upgraded hardware.
Although no specific titles have been teased, online speculation is already running high. Fans are hoping for updates on long-awaited projects such as Hollow Knight: Silksong, alongside potential surprise reveals from smaller studios.
