Indie teams Mureena and Psychoflow Studio have announced a new release date for the upcoming sci-fi platforming adventure Bionic Bay. The game was originally slated for an earlier release, but is now planned to launch on April 17, 2025, to allow the team to further enhance and polish the gameplay experience. Additionally, a completely new demo version focusing on the game’s online mode will be available on Steam in the coming weeks.

Bionic Bay is a unique platformer that immerses you in a mysterious biomechanical world. You take on the role of a scientist stranded in this unusual, futuristic environment, where realism merges with visually stunning pixel-art graphics. The game is grounded in physics mechanics and features carefully designed levels, challenging you to use your ingenuity and creativity to overcome obstacles.

Key game mechanics include The Swap, Time Freeze, and Power Fist, which allow you to manipulate the environment in innovative ways. The world of Bionic Bay is full of ancient but advanced technology, from elastic energy beams and super magnets to time anomalies and anti-gravity fluids. Furthermore, classic platformer elements, such as swinging on ropes, activating explosives, and traversing rusty pipes, contribute to the game’s nostalgic charm.
