A new fan-made strategy game has arrived with the launch of PokéPath TD, a full tower defense experience that runs directly in a web browser. The game requires no downloads and works well even on modest hardware, making it easy for anyone to jump in. Despite this simple setup, PokéPath TD offers deep strategy mixed with light RPG systems, asking players to manage a team of familiar creatures as they defend paths from waves of wild Pokémon.

The game treats each Pokémon as a living tower with its own stats and passive skills. As enemies grow stronger, you must level up and evolve your team to stay competitive. Winning is not only about raw strength but also about smart planning. Certain Pokémon work better together, and finding the right mix of abilities is key to surviving later stages.

PokéPath TD features nine different routes, each with one hundred waves of enemies to overcome. Every route ends with a battle against a powerful legendary Pokémon, giving players a clear goal to work toward. Progression is flexible, allowing you to move between routes at any time without losing progress. Even when a run fails, all earned experience and upgrades remain, which makes every attempt feel worthwhile.

Enemy variety plays a big role in keeping the gameplay fresh. The game includes 124 different Pokémon enemies, each with special traits such as armor, invisibility, health regeneration, or resistance to status effects. Combined with different map layouts, these enemies often force players to change tactics and swap Pokémon from their collection to counter specific threats.

The game also supports idle play, making it a good fit for a second screen or background gaming. Players can use an AFK system to farm waves they have already beaten, earning resources and experience automatically. However, this system is balanced so that new routes and harder waves still require active play and decision-making.
