ROCKBEASTS is a new story-driven role-playing management simulation game from Lichthund Studio and Team17. It’s set in the world of 1990s American rock music: think MTV, grunge songs, bad haircuts, and big business. Players take on the role of a band manager, helping a wild group of anthropomorphic animal misfits reach rock stardom.
Blending dark comedy à la BoJack Horseman with RPG depth, the game explores themes of creative integrity versus selling out, penned by writers from The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and The Blood of Dawnwalker. It features over 100 fully voiced characters (with talent from Baldur’s Gate 3, Alan Wake II, and more) across 90 hand-crafted locations in three cities.
ROCKBEASTS is a management simulator that features choice-driven storytelling within a non-linear, session-based loop. The new trailer, shown during The Galaxies Showcase, gives a detailed look at everything you can expect, including all the gameplay features revealed so far.
It is launching in 2026 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
