Publisher The Arcade Crew, known for titles such as Blazing Chrome and Young Souls, together with studio Club Sandwich, has announced that Shuffle Tactics, a dark fantasy tactical RPG deckbuilding game, will be released on Steam on June 24, 2025. This title blends strategic positioning, card-based combat, and roguelite elements, reinterpreting classic warrior archetypes in a cursed medieval world.

The demo introduces you to the story through two biomes: The Deluge, the dilapidated outskirts of the capital city, and The Snarl, a lush forest full of dangerous creatures. It also introduces a new playable hero, Fletch, a defensive character connected to his peasant roots who builds structures to protect allies. You can also manage the Doberknight, a sword fighter who moves enemies with strikes or unlocks area-control fire-spreading abilities.

Combat takes place on 3D grid maps, where altitude and angles are key. The demo includes a third of the cards, amulets, and relics from the full version of the game, all to help you create unique strategies. Five companions, each with unique abilities such as healing, magic, or archery, join the fight, but you can only choose two, making this mechanic extremely important.

Additionally, you will fight against four bosses, including two recently added to the demo version. The roguelite design, with permanent death and content that is unlocked over time, encourages you to return to the game, while medals for fastest runs, least damage taken, and most damage dealt appeal to those with a competitive streak.
