Caldera Interactive has announced The Rabbit Haul, a charming and unique game that blends a relaxing farming simulation with tower defense strategy. The game is scheduled for release in 2026 on PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch, where players will take on the role of an agile rabbit tasked with restoring his hometown after it was ravaged by a bandit gang of raccoons — the Trash Panda Posse.

In The Rabbit Haul, you play as a determined white-tailed rabbit working to return his town to its former glory. The game is divided into two main phases: Daytime Farming and Nighttime Defense. During the day, you’ll tend to crops, water your farm, and gather produce to build up food supplies and grow the economy. Additionally, you will plant defensive towers—plants that will aid you in defending your property.

When night falls, the raccoons attack. Each new horde of the Trash Panda Posse grows stronger, introducing new enemies that will test your defensive skills. You will need to upgrade your weapons, reinforce your towers, and use various tactics to survive the night and protect your hard-earned harvest. By exploring the world, you will discover special items, treasures, and allies that will help you rebuild the town. Between rounds, you can upgrade your towers and unlock new merchants.
