Tormented Souls II Surpasses 100,000 Units Sold One Month After Launch

Survival horror fans have embraced the return of Caroline Walker, as publisher PQube and developer Dual Effect have announced that the sequel Tormented Souls II has surpassed 100,000 units sold since its release. The game launched on October 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.

“After the success of the first game, we had high hopes for the sequel, especially given the incredible work Dual Effect put into crafting such a strong follow-up,” Pearson said in a press release. “We’ve been blown away by the reception. We’re also working on some exciting new content and will have news in a few weeks… so keep your eye(s) peeled…”

Tormented Souls II sees the return of Caroline Walker, who, after the traumatic events of Wildberger Hospital, yearns for a normal life with her younger sister Anna. However, fate intervenes when Anna falls victim to a mysterious affliction, forcing Caroline to turn to the supernatural in a desperate bid to save her.

In true survival horror fashion, the game requires players to solve environmental-based puzzles. Success depends on utilizing logic and reasoning to connect found items, creatively combine resources, and unlock twisted secrets that delve deeper into the dark mysteries shrouding Puerto Miller.
