Smash Attack Aus studio and publisher indie.io have announced the release of their upcoming sci-fi drone platformer Nullstar: Solus. This 2D platformer will be available in 2025 on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
In Nullstar: Solus, you pilot a futuristic drone tasked with exploring forgotten chambers and corridors in search of the most powerful energy source in the universe. During your journey, you will navigate through 80 carefully designed levels filled with hazards, both mechanical and organic, that demand precision and fast reflexes.
The game is designed with levels that offer short, intense challenges. Each stage is crafted to foster tension and resolve, creating that “just one more try” feeling that keeps you hooked. While the game is easy to pick up and accessible to players of all ages and skill levels, mastering all challenges requires dexterity and a keen sense of timing.
A unique jet system allows you to explore the paths at your own pace, while more experienced players can attempt to complete levels in the shortest time possible. For those seeking an even greater challenge, a harder and darker set of levels is available, unlocking a deeper level of exploration and additional obstacles.
