Evil Empire has announced a surprise edition of the Triple-i Initiative showcase for October 8, 2026. The 45-minute presentation will feature approximately 40 games, eight world premieres and plenty of release dates, gameplay reveals and updates delivered without adverts, sponsors or presenters.

Confirmed participants include Team17, Amanita Design, Strange Scaffold and Norsfell. Already-released games will also receive attention, with new announcements promised for Dave the Diver, Brotato, Chained Together, Risk of Rain 2 and Windrose.

The upcoming schedule contains several particularly interesting projects. Viewers can expect updates on Hela: Of Mice and Magic, Militsioner, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, Haunted Paws, Outward 2 and the recently revealed Among Us spin-off.

Triple-i debuted in 2024 as a not-for-profit showcase organized by developers for developers. Previous Indie-Games.eu coverage followed one of its Risk of Rain teasers, while earlier broadcasts revealed games including Slay the Spire 2, Don’t Starve Elsewhere and Graveyard Keeper 2. Its April 2026 edition similarly fitted 40 announcements into less than 45 minutes.

That density remains the event’s greatest strength. There is no awkward host conversation or extended advertisement between trailers, just one announcement moving directly into the next. The result can be overwhelming, but it also makes Triple-i one of the few gaming presentations where skipping ahead rarely feels necessary.

The October showcase will be broadcast through YouTube, Twitch, Steam, Bilibili and Niconico, with selected content creators also hosting streams.
