Meteor Magic Games has presented the first trailer for AEROMACHINA, a low-poly 3D platformer and Metroidvania inspired by the PSX era. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has vanished and new life is sprouting from old machines, the game follows Bogey, an amnesiac android who dreams of escaping to the skies. It will be available on PC via Steam.
The game combines fast-paced platforming action with beat ’em up combat, offering a blend of exploration, action, and discovery. As you progress, you unlock new abilities and weapons, opening up new paths and strategies for overcoming challenges. AEROMACHINA stands out for its dynamic platforming gameplay that evolves as you gain new powers and explore diverse environments.
The combat is stylized and dynamic, with a variety of upgradable weapons that allow you to exploit enemy weaknesses. The game world is non-linear, encouraging exploration and experimentation. Also, the low-poly graphics pay homage to the PSX era with contemporary visual enhancements. For added replayability, AEROMACHINA includes New Game Plus, a speedrun mode, and a built-in randomizer mode.
