RDBK Studios recently released a “cinematic” trailer for Renown, their ambitious medieval PvP survival title with building elements. This open-world game, which is expected to enter Steam Early Access in the third quarter of 2025, throws you into a relentless struggle for power. You will gather resources, build castles, and lead your clan into skill-based battles against rivals.

In Renown, up to 100 players per server compete in a medieval world where all resources and strongholds are up for grabs. You start with basic tools and gather materials to build everything from simple shelters to fortified castles. You will also craft siege weapons like catapults and battering rams to breach enemy defense lines. The combat, which is skill-based and inspired by titles like Chivalry 2, demands precision in both one-on-one duels and large-scale battles.

Customization is at the heart of Renown’s appeal, allowing you to personalize your experience down to the smallest detail. You can modify everything from your weapons and armor to your strongholds, with unique patterns, emblems, skins, and colors, creating a distinct identity for yourself and your clan. This freedom extends to combat, where a range of historically accurate weapons like swords, axes, and bows offers diverse playstyles.
