This September brings us another exciting shooter: Moros Protocol, born from a partnership between publisher Super Rare Originals and developer Pixel Reign. It blends fast-paced roguelite FPS action with a 90s sci-fi aesthetic and a modern twist. It has now been confirmed that the game will launch for PC via Steam on September 4.

In this game, you play as Alex, who wakes up on the ruined spaceship Orpheus with no memory, no allies, and surrounded by monsters. With the help of AI companion Abbey and the clumsy robot Ody-6, Alex must fight through procedurally generated corridors and face hordes of enemies and Soulslike-style bosses. Each battle is a test of skill and adaptability, requiring you to quickly adjust your strategy and equipment to survive.

The game combines fast action inspired by classics like Doom and Half-Life, but with roguelite elements. Death is not the end, each defeat grants you the chance to upgrade your abilities. Additionally, procedurally generated levels ensure that no run is ever the same, while branching paths offer a choice between safer routes or riskier challenges with better rewards.
