The highly anticipated cyberpunk game, Neo Berlin 2087, has re-emerged with a new gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2025. Developed by Elysium Game Studio, this debut title promises to blend high-stakes action with a deep, choice-driven narrative set in a dystopian future.
Neo Berlin 2087 is a singleplayer action-RPG that aims to be a fresh take on the cyberpunk thriller. It delves into themes of inequality, identity, and human augmentation while combining role-playing elements with shooter dynamics.
Originally projected for a 2024 launch, it has been refined and polished, leading to its current 2025 release window for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The trailer gives a fresh look at the game’s core mechanics, including its unique blend of third-person and first-person perspectives. The cinematic-style trailer introduces new characters, Bryan and Phoenix, and offers a glimpse into the grand conspiracy that threatens to consume the city.
Players will take on the role of Detective Nolan, who must navigate a futuristic, class-divided Berlin. The gameplay shifts between intense combat, exploration, and investigative puzzles.
