Tactical RPG Dark Deity II from Sword & Axe LLC is set to bring its deep strategic gameplay to the Nintendo Switch on September 4, 2025. It was developed in partnership with publisher indie.io and builds on the foundation of its 2021 predecessor, offering a Fire Emblem-inspired experience with meaningful player choices.

The sequel takes place 25 years after the original game, with the continent of Verroa on the brink of another war. You will command the Eternal Delegation, led by siblings Gwyn and Riordian, as you navigate treacherous political alliances to counter the expansionist Holy Asverellian Empire. The game features 20 playable heroes and an extensive branching class system with 45 unique classes. A standout feature is the “Twisted Destiny” mode, a roguelite-inspired campaign with randomized teams and levels.

Sword & Axe LLC also released a new trailer showcasing the refined turn-based combat and pixel-art visuals of the Switch version. Dark Deity II is already available on PC via Steam, where it holds a “Very Positive” rating.
