We’re happy to announce that IndieGames is one of the cooperating organizations at this year’s Małopolska Game Production Conference. The event, organized by the Gamedev Students Association, will take place in Krakow on November 28-30. This time, the conference will be held under the slogan “How to create games for players?”.

Every year, Małopolska Game Production Conference is a key event for students interested in game development. Through workshops and lectures, it introduces participants to the secrets of game design: from mechanics to marketing, while also addressing topics rarely covered at such events, including narrative, psychology, technical issues, and voice acting.

This year’s edition of the event, whose slogan is “How to create games for gamers?”, will last for 3 days. The first day will be dedicated to workshops led by industry professionals, who will show, among other things, how to create pixel art graphics, construct gameplay-driven VFX, and design game mechanics. On Saturday and Sunday, during lectures, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to use psychological theories in writing narratives, create animations for their characters, and learn useful tips for publishing games on Steam.

The conference is also an opportunity to meet representatives of well-known Polish game developers, such as Bloober Team, One More Level, and Polished Games, as well as many independent developers.
