Launching on Steam on July 23, Dinoblade throws players into a prehistoric world where dinosaurs don’t just hunt each other anymore, they wield massive weapons and battle for survival in a society transformed by a mysterious cataclysm.

You play as a young Spinosaurus armed with an oversized greatsword, embarking on a journey to stop an extinction-level threat. Along the way you’ll explore everything from dense jungles and rocky canyons to frozen wastelands, all while facing rival dinosaurs that are just as heavily armed as you are.

The gameplay blends Soulslike mechanics with fast-paced hack-and-slash combat. Dodging, parrying, and learning enemy attack patterns are key to survival, while new abilities and legendary weapons gradually expand your combat options. Each region is also home to powerful Alpha predators that serve as major boss encounters.

What’s particularly interesting is how the project came to life. Dinoblade began as a viral animation created by director Jean Nguyen showing a Spinosaurus performing flashy combo attacks. The response was so positive that it eventually evolved into a full game.
