Publisher 4Divinity and developer Sword Panda Limited have released a brand-new gameplay and story trailer for Sword Sage: Awakening, offering a deeper look at the upcoming action RPG inspired by Chinese mythology and folklore.
The trailer follows San Niang, a disciple of the Yuangong Sect who must confront the consequences of an ancient mistake after forbidden celestial knowledge was released into the human world. The disaster upset the balance between humanity and the spirit realm, leading to monstrous creatures, devastating natural disasters and a land struggling to survive.
Set in the fantasy world of Jiannandao, you will explore a setting where traditional Chinese legends merge with advanced technology. Armed with martial arts techniques, mystical artifacts and powerful Taoist spells, San Niang faces dangerous Yaoguai while mastering fast-paced sword combat and ancient techniques passed down through her sect.
