The cat in MY CAT SCATTERED GAMES: Tidy Videogame Supermarket has distributed 5,798 games and consoles across an entire store before trapping itself inside a claw machine. Restoring order becomes the player’s problem when the game launches on Steam on October 9, 2026.

Developed by ODIUS and published by Loopr Partners, the single-player organizing simulator asks players to pick up every scattered disc, cartridge and console, identify its platform and return it to an appropriate shelf.

Each shelf can contain three different games and up to ten copies of each, leaving players free to develop their own sorting system. The fictional collection also contains parody covers, jokes and references covering several generations of video game history.

Progress gradually makes the enormous task more manageable. Correctly organized shelves unlock abilities for locating matching copies, highlighting suitable storage spaces and sorting the items currently being carried.

There is also a larger puzzle hidden underneath the cleanup. The supermarket contains three areas with one locked safe in each. Organizing the shelves reveals three digits, which together form the code needed to open the claw machine and rescue the animal responsible for creating several thousand pieces of unpaid labour.

Despite that intimidating item count, there are no timers, customers, game-over conditions or penalties for working slowly. The Steam disclosure also notes that generative AI was used for some textures, localization and translation, while the 3D models, music and interface icons were created by people.
