JRPG Lost Hellden Gets a New Trailer During IGN Live

Artisan Studios showcased the latest trailer for their action JRPG Lost Hellden during IGN Live. This ambitious project is being developed in collaboration with illustrator Takeshi Oga, known for his work on the Siren series and Gravity Rush 1 & 2, as well as acclaimed composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, famous for his iconic soundtracks for Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Tactics Ogre.

Set in the richly crafted world of Era, Lost Hellden presents a society where every citizen is bound from birth to one of the seven deadly sins. This unique connection shapes their lives, forcing them either to resist their temptations or risk transforming into monstrous embodiments of their sins, a fate considered worse than death. The narrative focuses on twin brothers, Cyphel and Leht, whose fateful binding ceremony sets them on a dangerous journey of self-discovery and survival.

Lost Hellden boasts a distinctive visual style that blends beautifully hand-drawn 2D and 3D animation, thanks to Artisan’s proprietary Deep 2D technology. This technique enables detailed environments and character designs that bring the world of Era vividly to life.

The game features a highly strategic action combat system requiring tactical thinking to overcome enemies, while advanced customization options allow you to tailor your characters’ abilities and equipment to your preferred playstyle. Additionally, Artisan Studios plans to release a demo later this year, giving players an early taste of what the game has to offer.

Lost Hellden will launch on PC (Steam) and consoles in 2025.
