BALL x PIT Surpasses One Million Players, Announces Three Major Content Updates for 2026

Publisher Devolver Digital has announced a significant milestone for the hit survival roguelite BALL x PIT, confirming that the game has been played by over 1,000,000 adventurers. In celebration of the game’s success, developer Kenny Sun is committing to releasing three major content updates throughout 2026.

For the millions of players hopelessly hooked on the title, this means a massive influx of new content, as each of the planned updates will feature new balls, new evolutions, new buildings, new characters, and more additions.

The three confirmed updates are scheduled for release across the first half of the year:

• The first update, titled Regal, is set to arrive in January 2026.
• The second update, the mysterious Shadow update, will launch in April 2026.
• The final update of the announced trio, the Naturalist update, is scheduled for July 2026.

Devolver Digital promised that more detailed information regarding the first of these updates will be available in the very near future. Until then, players are encouraged to “get back in the pit” and continue fusing their balls in anticipation of the substantial expansion of the game’s core mechanics and world.
