Timberline Studio has announced that Beastro, its cozy mix of cooking, light farming, and deckbuilding, will be coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026. This new platform joins the already confirmed releases for Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and Game Pass. The game made appearance at the recent Day of the Devs showcase.

Beastro takes players to Palo Pori, a calm village filled with creative cooks and skilled artisans. The story follows Panko, a young chef whose job is to keep his community and the brave Caretakers well-fed as they prepare for the dangers that appear outside the village. Instead of fighting with weapons, heroes in this world rely on good food to stay strong.

The game blends several genres into one smooth loop where players cook meals through simple, cheerful minigames and grow their own ingredients through light farming. Every dish Panko makes becomes a card used in a deckbuilding combat system, where battles unfold like playful puppet shows. The idea behind the game is clear: in this world, a great meal can make the difference between safety and danger.

Players can try Beastro for themselves right now through the new demo available on Steam.
