Campfire Cozy Friends, developed by Campfire Studio, has released its first gameplay trailer and shared details about its future content plans. This open-world RPG will launch on PC via Steam.

In Campfire Cozy Friends, players travel to Camp Island, where they can transform the island into a popular tourist destination. You will meet 26 unique, unlockable characters, each with their own personality. Through open conversations powered by ethical AI, you can discuss a wide range of topics, from favorite music to hobbies.

The game allows unlimited dialogue, letting players shape their story and form genuine connections with NPCs. This approach offers a more engaging experience than traditional dialogue trees. You will also manage and restore the island, build homes, and interact with animal residents.

Campfire Cozy Friends will include additional content over time, such as new stories and side quests. Players interested in early involvement can invest in the Founders’ Pack for private alpha access and other benefits.

Siamak Freydoonnejad, Campfire’s co-founder, shared his vision for the game: “It all started with a game jam idea. We wanted players to build real friendships with NPCs and let their personality shape the gameplay. Our ethical AI and Sprites toolkit were designed to enhance this vision, supporting developers while encouraging creativity.”
