You play as Captain Corgi, a cute anthropomorphic dog who pilots a cosmic ship through the Milky Way, jumping from planet to planet to solve problems. This title has that charming Frog Detective atmosphere, but with a cheerful, space-faring twist.

The game focuses on relaxed exploration and light puzzles, with no combat, allowing you to talk to local residents and resolve their issues. A demo shown at The MIX event in 2025 featured a Little Red Riding Hood-inspired planet, where Corgi helps a wolf and a girl clear up a misunderstanding by baking a pie. Wallerstein, inspired by the charm and success of the small team behind Frog Detective, aims to bring the same humor and heart to this cosmic adventure.

The aesthetic of Captain Corgi is slightly simpler than the polished style of Frog Detective, but its world is full of personality. There are characters like Lionel Neckmane, a nerdy lion, and Corgi’s “bark” button. The dialogue and charming characters are engaging, and the story, coupled with quick, simple puzzles, is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxed and pleasant escape, similar to the short, sweet mysteries of Frog Detective.
