Relaxing Adventure Morgan: Metal Detective Launches in Late July

First announced during last year’s Six One Indie Showcase, Morgan: Metal Detective launches on July 30, 2025, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, offering a relaxing treasure-hunting adventure with a metal detector. Set on the picturesque island of Glasden, the game invites you to search for hidden treasures and lost items while uncovering the stories of the locals.

Morgan sets out to find a legendary island treasure her grandfather told her about for years. But the journey isn’t just a treasure hunt, every resident of Glasden has lost something, and Morgan must use clues and her metal detector to find those items. Returning lost belongings rewards her with unique music tapes she can listen to during exploration. Even seemingly worthless trash can be traded for credits at the local shop, where you can buy film for Morgan’s instant camera or stickers to decorate her journal.

“We wanted to capture the feeling of a carefree childhood adventure. Glasden is your playground, where you can explore and uncover hidden treasures with your trusty metal detector. We hope we’ve created a world players can relax in,” said game designer Harvey Hayman. Morgan will also be brought to life by BAFTA-nominated actress Charlotte McBurney, known for her role as Amicia in the A Plague Tale series.
