The British indie publisher Team17, in collaboration with developer Sassy Chap Games, has announced that their sandbox dating simulator Date Everything! will now be released in June 2025 for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The game, which was originally scheduled for a Valentine’s Day release in February, has been postponed to allow the team more time for additional refinement.

The new release date was revealed in a State of Build trailer, where Lead Designer Ray Chase shared updates on the game’s development. The trailer showcased previously unseen characters, unexpected discoveries during development, and a brief look at the game’s current state.

Date Everything! is a unique dating simulator that allows you to explore a world where literally everything can be your date. Equipped with special “Dateviator” goggles, you can converse and romantically connect with objects, from a laundry basket to the very air itself. Every object has its own personality, story, and multiple endings, making every interaction a brand-new adventure.

The delay until June 2025 allows the development team to further polish the game and meet high expectations. In the State of Build trailer, Ray Chase emphasized that the team is committed to delivering a polished and unforgettable experience. The extra time will also allow them to add more content and surprises, making the wait entirely worthwhile.
