Denshattack! Revealed Extreme Train Action at Gamescom

Developer Undercoders (Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara) and publisher Fireshine Games (Core Keeper) announced their latest title Denshattack! at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. Launching early next year on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, and confirmed as a day one Game Pass title, the game takes players on a wild, high-speed journey through the abandoned railways of a futuristic, dystopian Japan.

In a world ravaged by a climate catastrophe, the privileged elite live in air-purifying domes, while the rest of society survives in the undomed wastelands of a derelict Japan. A rebellious movement, known as Denshattack, has reclaimed this forgotten landscape, rebuilding the broken-down railway tracks to create a new way of life. Now, various underground gangs compete in territory duels, pushing the limits of extreme train action to the highest level imaginable.

Denshattack! invites you to find your flow state by mastering fast, fluid, and deep gameplay across more than 50 levels. The core of the experience is “rail-hopping trick combos”, where you jump, launch, and flip trains to drift on walls, clear massive chasms, and even engage in “absolutely sick boss fights.”

The game is a collaboration of veteran talent, with game director David Jaumandreu (NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound) at the helm and a soundtrack from lead composer Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, Sonic Frontiers).
