Developer 3DClouds has announced Formula Legends, an arcade motorsport racing game set for release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Set near the iconic Italian Monza circuit, the 3DClouds team aims to revive the arcade classics that popularized the genre.
The game features dynamic elements such as tire wear, fuel management, track rubber build-up, damage simulation, and changing weather conditions, alongside the ability to drive iconic open-wheel racing cars on 14 re-imagined tracks inspired by historic circuits. The game includes 16 unique car models, each with seven different color liveries, making a total of 112 vehicles spanning decades of motorsport history.
Formula Legends offers a rich Story Mode where you experience key moments from the sport’s history through championships set in different eras, driving legendary cars to leave your mark on the sport’s history. In addition to the campaign, you can design your own races and championships, compete in the Time Attack mode for a spot on the world leaderboards, and customize the experience with the option to edit car colors, helmets, and trackside sponsors.
