Duje Šegvić from ILUSTRATOR.HR brings us a point & click adventure inspired by games like Monkey Island and Full Throttle. Given the winter season, now is the perfect time to discover FLAKE – The Legend of Snowblind, which is planned for release in January next year on Steam.
The memory of the Great War still echoes across the island, though more than a thousand years have passed since it ended. But when the cold arrived, the long-lasting harmony began to fade, and barely perceptible, slow, and unsettling changes began. Something strange and sinister is growing unnoticed, and the balance of good and evil is disturbed. This time, the cold has come fiercely and seems to be staying; in fact, it has already lasted for years and has been named the Endless Winter. Snow has covered the island of Nesca, and prophecies say worse is coming, but the inhabitants are growing restless and hungry.
Embark on this mystical journey as FLAKE, an improbable creature who will walk the thin white line between good and evil. Prepare your pipe and the finest tobacco or a cup of tea, and get ready for long, sleepless nights, just like in the golden age of point-and-click adventures with that LucasArts artistic touch, like Monkey Island, Full Throttle, or Indiana Jones, only this time it’s frozen and cold.
This story-driven adventure features hand-drawn characters, clever puzzles, and witty humor, all wrapped in a unique graphical style. Years of work have been invested in the completely hand-drawn and classic frame-by-frame animation. More than 20 characters come with full voice acting, accompanied by an original soundtrack.
